Fried Dried Alamang (Fried Dried baby shrimps )

Dried Alamang is a very popular appetiser in the Philippines,but mostly a popular Ulam . Sometimes it served during almusal (breakfast)mixed with cut fresh tomato and finely chopped onion and serve with fried rice and other ulams (cooked dish).


  • 1 cup dried baby shrimps
  •  1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. oil


  1. Heat the frying pan then put the dried baby shrimps, and stir-fry for 1 minute
  2. Add oil and continue to stir-fry for another 1minute.
  3. Then transfer the fried dried baby shrimps to a bowl, mix the chopped onion and chopped tomato before serving
