Mango or Peach Float

Float using mango or peach. Mango float is one of the easiest way of preparing a desert, if you thinking to throw a party I suggest to try this recipe. Mango float can be prepared the day before the party just keep in the fridge. If you live in Philippines mango is very abundant preparing this recipe is not a problem, but you live abroad ripe mangoes is not available all the time, the best alternative to mangoes is peach.





Ingredients

  • 2 cups of mangoes (thinly sliced) or 1 can of peach
  • 20 pieces Graham crackers
  • 1 cup Double cream
  • 1 can condensed milk





Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream until double in size.
  2. Add condensed milk, mix well.
  3. In the rectangular glass dish (9 X 12) arrange graham crackers on the bottom.
  4. Trim the graham crackers to fit the corners of the dish. (Save the trimmings for garnishing.
  5. Spread the milk/cream mixture.
  6. Then spread the thin sliced mangoes/peaches evenly on top of the cream.
  7. Spread a very thin layer of cream mixture to  cover the mango/peaches.
  8. Make another layer of graham crackers, repeat the process until you have the 2 layers end up with thin slices of mango/peach.
  9. Crushed graham trimming and sprinkles on the top.
  10. Chill for at least an hours before serving.
