Ginataang isda

Ginataang isda or fish cooked with coconut milk, vinegar, peppercorn, ginger and optional with chilli pepper, very simple and easy to cook , just follow the steps by steps and use the main ingredients in this tutorial or watch and learn in our youtube tutorial.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium size bullet tuna or mackerel
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 inch ginger, crushed
  • ½ tsp peppercorn
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 4 chilli pepper (optional)

Method

Step 1

Cut fish in 3 pieces. Put in skillet.

Step 2

Add all the other ingredients except coconut milk.

Step 3

Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Add coconut milk and cook over moderate heat for about 5 minutes
